Instrumentation2010, 24 accelerometers and 3 relative displacement sensors on 7 levels, and 3 at a free-field.

Vertical Load Carrying SystemConcrete slabs over metal deck supported by steel beams and columns. The superstructure is supported at the foundation level on 171 triple concave friction pendulum isolation bearings.
Lateral Force Resisting SystemConcentrically-braced steel frames isolated at foundation level. The seismic isolation system consists of 171 triple concave friction pendulum bearings and 32 fluid viscous dampers.
Foundation TypeConcrete spread footings tied with concrete grade beams.
RemarksStructural design was based on the 2001 California Building Code. Instrumentation was required by the code. Funding for instrumentation was provided by the owner as required by OSHPD. CSMIP provided assistance in instrumentation.
