Instrumentation2007. 59 sensors on the main bridge, and 24 & 12 sensors on the approach structures.
 
Superstructure TypeLightweight prestressed concrete box girder with normal-weight concrete pier table. The box girder is single cell with transverse stiffening ribs at the Main Bridge, single- and double-cell at approaches. The Main Bridge consists of four frames, while the approaches have one and two frames, respectively.
Substructure TypeConcrete piers and bents; 1-2 columns per bent.
Foundation TypeMain Bridge: Piers 6-17 are supported by 8 or 9 piles. Each pile is installed by using 2.5m diameter steel casing driving into the bedrock and a 2.2m diameter CIDH piles socketed into rock
