Lateral Force Resisting SystemReinforced concrete shear walls and distributed steel moment frames. Retrofit (2013): Addition of new concrete shear walls and thickening of some of the existing concrete shear walls.
Foundation TypeConcrete caissons tied together with grade beams.
RemarksThe 1975 design was based on the 1970 UBC. The 2013 retrofit was designed in accordance with the 2010 CBC. There is a 3-story building adjacent with a 4" seismic joint.
