Instrumentation	1995. 20 accelerometers and 1 relative displacement sensor on the bridge. 3 accelerometers at a free-field site.

 

Superstructure Type	Continuous concrete box girder with 3 intermediate hinges. Abutments are open end seat-type with rocker bearings.
Substructure Type	Circular or elliptical concrete columns with steel jackets (added during the retrofit). 1 or 2 columns per bent.
Foundation Type	Bents are supported on CIDH concrete piles or spread footings. Abutments are supported on spread footings, CIDH piles, or steel piles.
Remarks	This bridge was instrumented under the interagency agreement between Caltrans and DOC. The bridge was retrofitted in 1995.
